Project Manager - Real Estate Development

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support and help lead real estate development projects, tenant improvements, and property operations.

This is a hands-on role with direct involvement in planning, permitting, construction, and tenant occupancy. The position is ideal for someone who wants to take ownership, work closely with decision-makers, and grow into a larger role over time

Key Responsibilities

Development & Construction Coordination:

  • Assist in managing active development projects from planning through construction

  • Coordinate with civil engineers, contractors, and consultants

  • Track permitting progress and help move projects through approvals

  • Support construction coordination and monitor timelines

Tenant Improvements & Leasing Execution:

  • Coordinate tenant buildouts and improvements

  • Help manage projects from lease execution through occupancy

  • Work with contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed on time

Project Ownership & Execution:

  • Track project timelines, budgets, and key milestones

  • Identify issues early and propose solutions

  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects and see them through to completion

Operations & Vendor Coordination:

  • Coordinate maintenance vendors and service providers

  • Track and help resolve property-level issues

  • Support ongoing improvements to internal processes and systems

Communication & Reporting:

  • Provide clear updates on project status, timelines, and risks

  • Communicate effectively with internal team members, consultants, and contractors

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:

  • 1–5+ years of experience in construction, real estate, project coordination, or a related field

  • Experience supporting or participating in development, construction, or tenant improvement projects preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, real estate, business, accounting, or a related field is a plus, but not required

Core Capabilities:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)

  • Ability to organize, track, and manage multiple projects and priorities

  • Ability to think critically, identify problems, and propose solutions

  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through to completion

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Project & Financial Skills:

  • Experience building and managing project timelines and schedules (formal software not required)

  • Ability to assist in creating, tracking, and managing project budgets

  • Basic understanding of construction costs and project financials

Technical Skills (Preferred):

  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and project documents

  • Experience with Bluebeam or similar tools

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus, but not required

Communication & Work Style:

  • Clear and concise communicator (written and verbal)

  • Able to work directly with contractors, consultants, and internal team members

  • Self-starter who does not require constant direction

  • Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility over time

Compensation

  • Salary: $75,000 – $100,000

  • Performance-based bonus potential

  • Opportunities for advancement
